Colour Quest Privacy Policy

Colour Quest respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Colour Quest application.

Images and Photos

Colour Quest allows you to select or take photographs and convert them into personalised colour-by-number quests.

Images you choose are used to provide the image conversion and colouring features of the app. You control which images you choose to use with Colour Quest.

AI Image Generation

If you choose to use AI image generation, the photograph you submit and your selected art style are sent securely to Colour Quest's server and to Cloudflare's AI service to create your artwork. Do not submit images containing sensitive information or photographs you do not have permission to use. Ordinary on-device colouring does not require you to submit a photograph for AI generation.

To manage AI access and subscription allowances, Colour Quest uses an app installation identifier and stores limited AI usage records. Purchase information needed to check subscription access is verified using Google Play. Colour Quest does not receive your payment card details.

Saved Quests

Colour Quest may store your quest information and progress on your device so that you can save a quest and continue it later.

Advertising

Colour Quest may display rewarded advertisements. These advertisements allow you to voluntarily watch an advertisement in exchange for certain in-app rewards, such as additional hints or cheats.

Advertising services may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interaction data, and other information required to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services.

Google AdMob

Colour Quest uses Google AdMob to provide advertising services. Google may process information in accordance with its own privacy policies and advertising practices.

In-App Purchases

Colour Quest may offer optional in-app purchases, including additional hints, cheats, or other digital features.

Purchases made through the Android application are processed by Google Play. Colour Quest does not directly receive or store your payment card details.

Information We Collect

Colour Quest does not require you to create a Colour Quest account to use its core colouring features.

Third-party services integrated into the app, including advertising and app-store services, may collect information necessary to provide their services.

Data Storage and Retention

Saved quests and colouring progress are generally stored on your device and can be removed by deleting saved content or clearing the app's local data. Limited usage records may be retained on our server to enforce AI allowances and help operate the service. Data handled by Google, Cloudflare, and other service providers may be subject to their own retention practices.

Requesting Data Deletion

You can request deletion of data held by Colour Quest by emailingdazmania1969@gmail.com. Please include "Colour Quest data deletion request" in your message and describe the data you want deleted. We may need additional information to locate records associated with your installation. Do not send passwords or payment information.

We will review your request and explain what information we can delete, what we cannot identify or control, and whether any records must be retained for legal or operational reasons. Clearing app data on your device removes locally saved quests, but does not necessarily delete data held by third-party providers. For data held independently by Google or other providers, you may also need to use their privacy controls.

Children's Privacy

Colour Quest is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through a Colour Quest account system.

Third-Party Services

Colour Quest may use third-party services such as Google Play and Google AdMob. These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to Colour Quest, its features, or applicable requirements. The latest version will be published on this page.
